Contact UsTrue orthodontic emergencies are rare. However, there are minor problems that can occur, many of which can be remedied at home. If not, we are always available to help with any problems that may come up.
If a band or bracket is still attached to the wire, leave it in place. If is uncomfortable, place wax on it. If it comes out completely, wrap the band or bracket in a tissue and call us during regular hours.
Try to push the wire toward the teeth/gums with a clean pencil eraser. If possible put wax on it.

Tylenol or Ibuprofen are effective at reducing orthodontic soreness. But use at your own (or parent’s) discretion.
